Aker Sweets ("we", "us") operates online ordering for our customers. We collect the information you give us at checkout (name, contact details, order contents, delivery address when you choose delivery) and use it to fulfill your order, send order updates, and, only with your consent, marketing messages.

We do not sell your personal information. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and never stored on our systems. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time from your account page or by contacting us at info@akersweetsusa.com.

Marketing email always includes an unsubscribe link, and SMS marketing always honors STOP. California residents can use the "Do Not Sell or Share" link on our site.

Advertising and analytics

This site loads advertising tags from Google Ads. They record the pages you view, the items you add to your cart, and the orders you complete, and they link that activity to an advertising identifier so we can measure our ads and show them to you on other websites and apps. Under California law this is selling or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. This is measurement, not advertising.

You have two ways to stop the advertising use. Use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of every page, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honor Global Privacy Control automatically on every request: when it is on, the advertising tags are not loaded at all and our analytics runs with ad personalization switched off.
